Hale’s performance helps Wallace State move to 7-0

HANCEVILLE — Wallace State’s volleyball team remained undefeated this season with a 26-24, 25-15, 25-9 road victory at Gadsden State on Wednesday night.

The Lions moved to 7-0 on the season and 3-0 in Alabama Community College Conference action.

Sophomore Lexie Riggins paced the way for Wallace State with 15 kills. Freshman Karlee Hale of Geraldine had 12 kills and eight digs, and Maya Jones finished with nine kills.

McKenzie Boland accumulated 33 assists for the Lions and freshman Alexis Snow compiled a team-high 15 digs.

Wallace State has won conference matches thus far against Snead State, Coastal Alabama-South and Gadsden State, extending its regular-season conference match streak to 62 consecutive wins, spanning four seasons.
